It is with immense pleasure and great pride that I, President NABI & Organizing Chairperson, NABICON 2026 extend to you a warm invitation to the 33rd Annual Conference of the National Academy of Burns – India (NABICON 2026), scheduled to be held from 27th, 28th February and 1st March 2026 at the prestigious India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

The Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, is honoured to host this esteemed gathering of leading professionals, surgeons, researchers, and caregivers dedicated to the advancement of burn care in India and abroad.

NABICON 2026 promises to be a dynamic platform for academic exchange, clinical updates, hands-on workshops, and a showcase of innovations in burn management and reconstructive surgery. Our venue – The India Habitat Centre offers world-class infrastructure to facilitate engaging scientific sessions and a vibrant trade exhibition.

The theme for NABICON 2026 is “Healing Beyond Burns – Elevating standards and transforming lives”. This theme was chosen as it lays emphasis on the holistic approach that not only fulfils the immediate medical needs but also prioritizes long term rehabilitation, emotional support and reintegration of burns patient into the society by incorporating advanced aesthetics and reconstructive procedures restoring both functionality and appearance. We aim to achieve this goal through establishment of a uniform protocol for all burn care providers and units in the country. In this direction, 5 zonal meetings, ensuring coverage across all regions of the country, will also be organized throughout the year.
